Good Hands Cleaning Services LLC ("Good Hands," "we," "us," or "our") is a California limited liability company providing residential and commercial cleaning services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit goodhandscleaningservices.com (the "Site"), request a quote, book or receive services, communicate with us by phone, text message, email, or web form, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Site or Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information you provide directly

• Identifiers: first and last name, mailing and service address, email address, mobile and landline phone numbers
• Service information: property type and size, number of rooms, service type and frequency, access instructions (gate codes, lockbox codes, alarm codes), pets, allergies or product preferences, special instructions, and photos you choose to send
• Communications: the content of text messages, emails, web form submissions, chat messages, voicemails, and call notes
• Payment information: payment card details and billing address, collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
• Feedback: reviews, ratings, survey responses, and complaints

B. Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, referring URL, and approximate location derived from IP address
• Cookies and similar technologies: small files placed on your device that help the Site function, remember your preferences, and measure traffic (see Section 8)
• Communication metadata: the date, time, and delivery status of text messages, emails, and calls

C. Information from third parties

• Enforcing our Terms and Conditions and protecting the rights, property, and safety of Good Hands, our customers, our contractors, and the public
• With your separate consent, sending promotional communications about our services (you may opt out at any time)

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. SMS / Text Message Program

This section describes our text messaging program and applies in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy.

How you opt in. You consent to receive text messages from Good Hands Cleaning Services LLC when you (a) check the SMS consent box on a form on our Site, (b) send a text message to our business number, or (c) provide your mobile number to us verbally and agree to receive texts. The consent box on our forms is unchecked by default and reads substantially as follows:

"By checking this box, I agree to receive text messages from Good Hands Cleaning Services LLC about quotes, appointments, and account updates at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms."

Types of messages. Messages may include quote responses, appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling changes, arrival notifications, service follow-ups, review requests, billing notices, and replies to your questions. If you separately consent, we may also send occasional promotional messages.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your activity and scheduled services.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier plan. Good Hands does not charge for text messages.

How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by contacting us at 657-261-8284 or [email protected].

No condition of purchase. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Carrier disclaimer. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator.

Sharing of mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose personal information only as follows:

• Cleaning professionals and subcontractors. Independent cleaning professionals engaged by Good Hands receive the name, service address, contact phone number, access instructions, and job details necessary to perform your service. They are required to use this information only to complete the assigned job and to keep it confidential.
• Service providers. Companies that perform services on our behalf, including customer relationship management and scheduling software, text message and email delivery providers, telephone and call routing providers, payment processors, website hosting, analytics, and accounting. These providers are contractually limited to using personal information only to provide services to us.
• Professional advisors. Attorneys, accountants, insurers, and similar advisors as needed to operate our business.
• Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Good Hands, our customers, our contractors, or others, or to investigate fraud or security issues.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, personal information may be transferred to the successor entity subject to this Privacy Policy.
• With your direction or consent. For example, if you ask us to share information with a landlord, property manager, or realtor.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, password protection, encrypted transmission where available, and limiting access to personnel and contractors who need it. Property access codes and instructions are shared only with the professional assigned to your job. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by California law.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide ongoing services, maintain business and financial records, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Records of SMS consent and opt-out requests are retained as required to demonstrate compliance with applicable messaging laws. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These may include essential cookies, analytics cookies, and cookies placed by embedded forms and booking calendars. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent's authorization and verification of your identity. We will respond within 45 days, extendable by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary with notice to you.

Categories of personal information collected in the preceding 12 months: identifiers; customer records (contact and service details); commercial information (services purchased); internet or network activity; approximate geolocation derived from IP address; and inferences drawn from the above for service and scheduling purposes. Each category is collected from the sources and used and disclosed for the purposes described in Sections 2, 3, and 5.

California "Shine the Light." California residents may request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site and Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If you are an independent cleaning professional who applies to or works with Good Hands, we collect the information necessary to evaluate, engage, schedule, and pay you, which may include identity, contact, background check, insurance, and tax information. This information is used only for those purposes and is disclosed to background check and payment providers as needed.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by a notice on the Site or by direct communication where appropriate. Your continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
